We are seeking a Special Projects Manager to spearhead the coordination and execution of Roots\xe2\x80\x99 special projects, including collaborations, capsules, and community initiatives.

The Special Projects Manager for Roots will be responsible for the following:

• Facilitating the Special Projects Working Committee to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment.
• Presenting strategy and project updates to the Special Projects Executive Committee, ensuring a clear communication channel.
• Creating, coordinating, and maintaining comprehensive project summary decks for all special projects. Effectively managing timelines and cross-functional execution throughout the entire go-to-market process.
• Cultivating strong relationships with external partners for special projects, closely collaborating with the Director of PR & Culture and the VP of Wholesale and Business Development
• Working collaboratively with Special Project committees to craft annual and seasonal strategies that align with our brand\xe2\x80\x99s short-term and long-term objectives.
• Remaining well-informed about relevant brands, influencers, and celebrities, staying culturally attuned to the market landscape.

Top candidates for the Special Projects Manager role will have the following:

• 6-10 years of experience in marketing and/or special projects, preferably within the apparel industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with additional skills in Illustrator and InDesign considered an asset.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective interaction with challenging partners while prioritizing Roots\xe2\x80\x99 best interests.
• A strong passion for apparel and cultural trends, remaining up-to-date and knowledgeable in this ever-evolving landscape.
