Position Summary:
The Special Projects Associate will provide assistance primarily to the Human Resources Department but may participate in cross functional projects. This position will operate in an office environment and will involve typical administrative tasks such as operating office equipment, collecting, analyzing, and filing information. The incumbent must follow the strategic plans of the organization, adhering to the HFN vision and values.
Reporting:
This position will report to the Director of Human Resources
Summary of Main Responsibilities:
Providing general business support - data entry, filing, etc.
Helping with Human Resource Management projects
Collecting data and conducting business analysis
Developing best practice models for various special projects
Assisting in the preparation of timely reports
Requirements:
Must be between the ages of 15-30
Must be Indigenous
Must not be enrolled in school
Currently unemployed or underemployed
Preference for individuals with a demonstrated interest in business
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be willing to work diligently
Be honest and respectful and maintain strict confidentiality
Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity
Must be computer literate - working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Knowledge of general business practices and procedures is an asset

Pay: $20.50 per hour
