Job Description
Early Childhood Educator - Special Needs Assistant/ IBI Assistant:
Work one-on-one with a preschool student on goals created by an IBI specialist, such as potty training, communication, socializing, fine motor skills, etc. Work as a team player Supervise child both indoors and outdoors Professional, Dependable, Punctual & Reliable
Required Skills:
Early Childhood courses would be an asset - or willingness to obtain, tuition subsidies available through the province First Aid & CPR - or willingness to obtain Food Safety Course- or willingness to obtain Criminal record check with vulnerable record check Two work related references You MUST currently live in PEI
Required Experience:
Experience an asset Training included (government funding is available to take courses towards ECE certification level 1)
About this Job:
Location: Family Place, Summerside, PE Terms of Employment: Part Time 25 hours per week. Possibility of additional hours. Wage: $17.40 - $31.12 per hour depending on qualifications and ECE certification levels as per the provincial ECE wage grid. Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.
