Job Summary:

Hi there, we're Alto! We're an innovative online platform that connects caregivers with families seeking care for individuals with special needs, including both youth and adults. As a vetted caregiver, your role will involve providing personalized support, promoting independence, and creating a nurturing environment for individuals with unique requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide companionship and supportive care Drive to and from scheduled activities (must have your own reliable vehicle) Supervise and assist during swimming, including showering afterward Communicate clearly, speaking slowly and in clear English (a mild or neutral accent is preferred) Offer patient, respectful support with daily activities and personal care

Requirements:

Must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle Comfortable assisting with personal care tasks Experience working with individuals with developmental or communication differences is an asset Calm, patient, and attentive demeanor

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you

must

have following qualifications:

- CPR/First-Aid certification from a Canadian-accredited institution

- Recent Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector (issued within the last three months)

While prior experience is not mandatory, it is advantageous. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds who have a genuine interest in special needs care and possess the dedication to create meaningful connections with individuals of all ages.

Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM
