Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education with the ability to effectively communicate and connect with students who have diverse learning needs. This role involves creating an inclusive classroom environment that fosters growth and learning for all students, particularly those with disabilities.

Duties

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles, particularly in subjects such as Math. Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages students to express themselves and participate actively in their learning. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to each student's education. Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing feedback and adjusting teaching strategies as necessary. Provide tutoring support for students who require additional assistance in their studies. Utilize effective communication skills to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues. Maintain accurate records of student performance and behavior, ensuring compliance with educational standards and regulations.

Experience

A degree in Special Education or a related field. Experience working with children who have disabilities is highly desirable. Proven ability to educate and inspire students in a classroom setting. Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating effectively with students, families, and staff members. Experience in tutoring or providing additional academic support is beneficial.

Pay: $58,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
