Kontron Canada is looking for a systems administrator, electronics or computer technician, engineering graduate to join our solutions team. This colleague will work closely with hardware designers, software developers as well as systems engineers in order to assemble, configure and test the first prototypes of various embedded systems. He(she) will also carry out functional and performance tests (benchmarks). He(she) will be performing operating system certifications and component qualification. • Vous assemblerez et configurerez les syst\xc3\xa8mes embarqu\xc3\xa9s prototypes;
• Vous assisterez les clients internes et externes lors de la livraison des prototypes;
• Vous effectuerez des tests de performance (benchmarks) de syst\xc3\xa8mes;
• Vous d\xc3\xa9velopperez et maintiendrez des tests automatis\xc3\xa9s de syst\xc3\xa8mes;
• Vous ex\xc3\xa9cuterez des certifications des syst\xc3\xa8mes d\'exploitation;
• Vous ex\xc3\xa9cuterez des programmes de qualification de composantes (cartes GPU, modem LTE, cartes r\xc3\xa9seaux, etc.) de syst\xc3\xa8mes;

AN OVERVIEW OF THE CHALLENGES AHEAD:

• You will perform system performance benchmarks;

• Connaissances :
  • Exp\xc3\xa9rience dans un environnement de d\xc3\xa9veloppement ou d\xe2\x80\x99int\xc3\xa9gration de syst\xc3\xa8mes, de cartes \xc3\xa9lectroniques et/ou de logiciels;
  • Exp\xc3\xa9rience pratique d\xe2\x80\x99installation, de configuration et de d\xc3\xa9verminage avec diverses distributions de Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, Debian, Suse, etc.) et Windows;

• Education: Computer technology, bachelor of engineering or equivalent;
• Experience: Ideally 3 years and more;
• Knowledge:
  • Experience in a development or integration environment for systems, electronic boards and / or software;
  • Hands-on experience about installation, configuration and debugging with various distributions of Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, Debian, Suse, etc.) and Windows;
  • Experience with the following programming languages: Python and Scripting (bash)
  • Networking experience: TCP/IP suite, Network Booting, VLAN, switch configuration;
  • Knowledge of virtualization environments such as VMware and Azure/Hyper-V;
  • Knowledge of cryptography;
• Profile: Very strong problem-solving skills, passion, proactivity, autonomy, rigor, teamwork, determination, sense of responsibility, sharing of knowledge through documentation and concern for customer satisfaction;
