En tant que specialiste en controle sur le terrain, vous jouerez un role technique cle en intervenant directement sur site pour assurer la maintenance preventive, les reparations, l'installation et la mise en service des systemes de controle automatises des batiments. Sous supervision generale, vous contribuerez activement a la satisfaction client grace a votre expertise, votre professionnalisme et vos aptitudes en resolution de problemes.


Vous collaborerez avec des specialistes experimentes, des charges de projet, des ingenieurs et des concepteurs lors des tests fonctionnels et de la validation des systemes, ce qui vous permettra d'elargir vos connaissances. Une bonne comprehension des principes fondamentaux des

systemes de controle des batiments

est indispensable, ainsi qu'une volonte d'apprentissage continu face a l'evolution des produits et des technologies.


Des competences solides en documentation sont requises : nous comptons sur des rapports clairs et complets de vos interventions et recommandations pour maintenir nos standards eleves.

Responsabilites principales



Intervenir dans la region du Grand Montreal et ses environs. Installer, diagnostiquer et optimiser les systemes clients utilisant la technologie avancee de controle numerique direct (DDC). Collaborer avec les clients et les equipes projet pour comprendre les besoins et resoudre les problemes techniques. Proposer des solutions efficaces a des problematiques complexes. Assurer la livraison complete de projets de taille moyenne a grande. Verifier le bon fonctionnement des systemes, y compris les controles, capteurs et logiciels. Charger les logiciels, configurer les tendances, alarmes et rapports. Gerer efficacement son temps pour garantir la satisfaction client. Communiquer et documenter l'etat et les details du projet pour le client. Former les proprietaires/operateurs sur le systeme installe. Respecter les normes de securite avec une attention particuliere a la securite des employes et sous-traitants. Se tenir informe des tendances du secteur et des nouvelles technologies en automatisation des batiments.

Qualifications requises



Diplome collegial ou certificat technique en l'une des options suivantes : automatisation des batiments / automatisation / electricite / electromecanique / ou ingenierie. 1+ an d'experience avec les systemes d'automatisation des batiments. Communication fluide en francais (oral et ecrit) et niveau fonctionnel en anglais. Permis de conduire valide et assurable par l'entreprise. Capacite a utiliser des echelles ou equipements de levage a plus de 2,5 metres du sol et a soulever jusqu'a 23 kg.

Qualifications souhaitees (atouts)



Maitrise des logiciels d'automatisation avances comme WebCTRL. (atout) Capacite a naviguer et integrer divers systemes d'automatisation. Experience avec les reseaux TCP/IP et les technologies sans fil. Aptitude a gerer simultanement plusieurs defis techniques multidisciplinaires. Capacite a vulgariser des informations techniques pour un public non technique. Excellentes competences en communication et esprit d'equipe. Maitrise des applications Microsoft 365.

Field Controls Specialist

, you'll take charge of preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, and commissioning of building automation control systems, all under general supervision. Your mission? Deliver top-tier customer satisfaction through direct, onsite interactions that showcase your problem-solving skills and professionalism.


You'll have opportunities to assist more senior specialists, project managers, engineers, and designers during functional testing and system validation, expanding your knowledge and experience along the way. To thrive in this role, you must understand the foundational principles of Building Control systems and be driven to continuously learn as new products and strategies hit the market and are released for sale.

Essential Job Functions:



Operate across the Greater Montreal area, and surrounding regions. Initiate, install, troubleshoot, and optimize customer systems that utilize advanced Direct Digital Control technology. Collaborate with clients and project team to understand system requirements and serve as local contact for technical issues. Offer effective solutions for complex system issues. Provide turnkey project delivery on medium to large projects. Responsible for ensuring that systems operate properly, to include controls, sensors, and software. Load software, configure trends, alarms, and reports. Implement time management strategies to ensure customer satisfaction. Communicate and document the status and details of the project for the customer. Provide site-specific training to owners/operators on the complete system. Adheres to safety standards. High degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety. Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies in building automation.

Basic Qualifications:



College Diploma or Technical Certificate in one of the following: BAS (Building Automation systems) / Automation / Electrical / Electro-Mechanical / Engineering. 1+ year experience with Building Automation Systems. Fluent communication (verbal and written) in French, and functional communication level in English. Valid and current Driver's License and can be insurable by the company's insurance due to the mobile nature of the job. Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment over 8 feet above grade and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs.

Preferred Qualifications (nice to have):




Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:

Proficient with advanced building automation software, such as WebCTRL

,

and installing building automation controls. (nice to have) Ability to navigate and integrate into a variety of building automation systems. Experience with TCP/IP networks including wireless technology. Experience interacting with a large and diverse number of simultaneous challenges, requiring knowledge of multiple disciplines. Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience. Excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work well in a team environment. Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications.
