Vous avez une experience dans le developpement et la certification de systeme aeronautique, vous avez travaille dans le domaine des systemes hydromecaniques et vous souhaitez evoluer et developper de nouvelles competences? Ce poste est pour vous !


Le programme d'avions commerciaux A220 recherche d'un specialiste en certification de systeme carbunrant pour rejoindre notre equipe Systeme Carburant et Inertage basee a Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), ou vous travaillerez conjointement avec l'equipe du departement propulsion.


Vous ferez partie de l'equipe d'ingenierie des systemes de carburant et d'inertage, responsable de :


Evaluer, certifier et analyser les systemes de carburant des aeronefs, en contribuant a l'ensemble du cycle de vie du produit, du developpement au service apres-vente.


Le candidat ideal possede une expertise approfondie des principes des systemes carburants (ATA 28) et une connaissance approfondie de la reglementation aeronautique. Ce poste offre une perspective d'evolution vers un role de responsable de l'homologation de la conception (DAD).


La structure de l'equipe permet de favoriser la collaboration interfonctionnelle, l'entraide et l'apprentissage collectif.

Vos defis:



Participer a l'evaluation des changements et a l'etablissement des strategies de certification pertinentes. Proposer des solutions d'ingenierie dans votre domaine d'expertise, notamment en anticipant les risques. Rediger la documentation pour communiquer les resultats et satisfaire aux exigences des autorites de certification et des clients internes. Fournir du soutien aux essais en vol et au sol. Collaborer avec les autres centres de competences d'Airbus pour partager les meilleures pratiques, gerer les connaissances et ameliorer l'efficacite. A la fin de la periode d'essai concluante, le candidat sera forme et considere pour le poste de Design Approval Designee (Transports Canada Aviation civile).

Votre profil:



Vous detenez une licence ou, de preference, une maitrise et possedez une experience significative et pertinente dans le secteur aerospatial, notamment dans le domaine des carburants et tout au long du cycle de vie du developpement d'un produit aerospatial. Vous maitrisez les processus de developpement et de certification du Manuel de navigabilite (AWM) 525 du Reglement de l'aviation canadien (CAR) et avez de l'experience en tant que Design Approval Designee (DAD) ou candidat a ce titre. Vous avez travaille sur des programmes d'aeronefs certifies (EASA/FAA/TCCA) et avez une experience directe des normes ARP4754A, DO-160, CS-25 sous-parties F/G et des publications techniques. Vous avez redige ou examine des analyses de surete, des AMDEC, des plans d'essais, des listes de verification de conformite et des revues de conception. Vous connaissez parfaitement les normes de l'industrie pertinentes, les exigences de certification et les documents d'orientation. Une experience pertinente au sein d'un groupe de travail international est un atout. Vous comprenez la conception des systemes de carburant. Vous possedez des competences intermediaires a avancees en documentation. Vous etes responsable du respect des objectifs TCQP (Temps/Cout/Qualite/Performance). Vous etes un joueur d'equipe, proactif, dote d'un sens aigu des responsabilites et d'un bon jugement, capable de travailler sous pression avec un minimum de supervision. Vous possedez d'excellentes competences organisationnelles et analytiques, et vous souhaitez ameliorer les processus, capitaliser sur les connaissances et les partager avec l'equipe. Vous avez de bonnes competences redactionnelles et de communication, et notamment d'excellentes competences en redaction technique.
Ce poste peut impliquer des deplacements professionnels (a l'etranger).

The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for an Fuel Certification Specialist to join our Fuel and inerting system engineering department based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will work jointly with the teams within the Energy Center of Competence.


You will be part of the Fuel and inerting system engineering team responsible for:


Evaluation, certification, and analysis of aircraft fuel systems, contributing to the complete product lifecycle from development to in-service support.


The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Fuel principles (ATA 28) and a comprehensive understanding of aviation regulations. This position offers a clear path for development towards a Design Approval Designee (DAD) role.

Your challenges:



Participate in evaluating changes and establishing relevant certification strategies. Propose engineering solutions in your domain of expertise including anticipating risks. Produce formal documentation to communicate the results and satisfy certification authorities and internal clients. Call upon to support flight and ground tests. Collaborate with other Airbus centers of competency for best practice, knowledge management and to improve efficiency. The candidate will be developed and considered for the Design Approval Designee (Transport Canada Civil Aviation) role upon successful completion of the trial period.

Your boarding pass:



You hold a bachelor's or preferably master's degree with significant pertinent experience in the industry with the fuel discipline and through the complete life cycle of an aerospace product development. You have a good understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CAR) Airworthiness Manual (AWM) 525 development and certification life cycle processes with experience as a Design Approval Designee (DAD) or candidate. You worked on certified aircraft programs (EASA/FAA/TCCA), with direct experience in ARP4754A, DO-160, CS-25 Subpart F/G, and Technical publication. You authored or reviewed Safety Assessments, DFMEAs, test plans, compliance checklists, and design reviews. Fully familiar with relevant industry standards, certification requirements and guidance material Relevant experience as member of international working group is an asset You have an understanding of the fuel system design You have intermediate to advanced documentation skills. Be responsible to deliver on TCQP ( Time/ Cost/ Quality/ Performance) You are a team player and a person with initiative, strong sense of responsibility and good judgment capable of working under pressure with minimal supervision. You have exceptional organizational and analytical thinking skills interested in improving processes, capturing knowledge and sharing with the team. You have good writing and communication skills with demonstrated excellent technical writing skills
This role may involve some travels for business (worldwide).
