Spa Supervisor

to join our team.

Must have open availability to work mornings starting at 7 am, evenings until 11 pm, weekends and holidays. Preference for evening shifts is ideal.*

Spa Supervisor

, you will lead by example, cultivating a positive environment while ensuring the facility meets strong standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency. You will also work alongside the leadership team and Relaxation Specialists, supporting the guest experience, answering questions, providing guidance, and fostering lasting guest connections that encourage retention and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities



Facility Maintenance:

Ensure the facility maintains cleanliness, organization, and functionality, delivering a consistent five-star guest experience. Lead deep cleaning efforts, monitor equipment, and maintain open communication with the Leadership team to ensure a safe environment.

Staff Training and Development:

Motivate and coach the team to prioritize facility upkeep and attention to detail, enhancing the overall spa environment. Assist in the training and mentoring of staff to maintain strong standards.

Leadership and Team Collaboration

: Lead and motivate the team to ensure strong performance and collaboration. Provide coaching, feedback, and training to uphold service excellence. Maintain open communication with the Spa Leadership team to set clear expectations for the team.

Health and Safety:

Promote a culture of health and safety within the team by demonstrating best practices. Lead health and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with policies and conducting regular assessments to ensure a safe environment.

Guest Experience Enhancement:

Ensure the atmosphere aligns with Cedar & Steam's core values. Maintain an elevated, welcoming environment that supports an exceptional guest experience, addressing any concerns or requests as needed, while consistently maintaining strong standards of service and professionalism in all guest interactions.

Administrative Duties:

Assist with communication, manage guest profiles, complete guest transactions, support bookings as needed, and utilize tools such as scorecards to help elevate the team's performance.

Qualifications



Education

:

No specific formal education required, but a general understanding of health and wellness is an asset. Leadership or Management training is considered an asset. AGLC Proserve certificate is required. Standard | Intermediate First Aid and CPR [SFA|CPR] is required. Police Information Check [PIC] is required.
Applicants who do not have these are encouraged to apply. If you join our team, you will be required to provide current and valid documentation of Proserve, Standard First Aid/CPR Level C, and Police Information Check within 30 days of hire into this position.*

Experience

:

Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in a Supervisor Customer Service or Leadership position in a Spa, healthy club or hospitality industry or related field. Bartending or serving experience is a plus. Previous knowledge of massage therapy and essential oils is ideal. Aesthetician experience is an asset. Cleaning and/or facility maintenance experience is an asset. Experience with Mindbody software or similar systems is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with both guests and team members. Highly organized with the ability to multitask effectively, ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced environment. Ability to quickly adapt and learn new processes to improve both guest and team experiences. Self-confident and proactive, with the ability to make effective decisions and prioritize tasks.
