Position Summary
We are seeking a Spa Coordinator to support day-to-day spa operations, staff scheduling, and guest services. This role requires a balance of hands-on involvement at the spa, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lead with warmth, professionalism, and care.
The Spa Coorindator will work closely with the Spa Director to ensure smooth operations and staff support. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their leadership skills within the wellness & hospitality sector and learn about small business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Support
Provide staff coverage during breaks (Tuesday-Friday).
Be trained to cover both Front Desk and Spa Attendant roles
Assist with shift coverage (evenings and weekends) as needed.
Assign tasks to Spa Attendants as needed.
Monitor staff duties, task completion, and pool health records.
Communicate operational updates via staff logbook and email reports to the Spa Director
Assist with private rental bookings
Inventory & Scheduling
Manage weekly inventory, ordering, and supplier coordination.
Pick up supplies from local suppliers when needed
Create and manage staff schedules for our Front Desk/Spa Attendants
Coordinate Massage Therapy scheduling each season
HR Support
Assist with onboarding and training new staff, including on policies & emergency health & safety procedures
Assist with staff & team development through feedback, seasonal staff socials, and ongoing training.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of team leadership or supervisory experience.
Strong administrative and clerical skills; proficiency with Excel and scheduling tools.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Calm, friendly, and professional demeanour with a positive team spirit.
Strong computer and problem-solving skills.
Previous experience in spa, hospitality, or customer service required.
Drivers license and access to a vehicle is a strong asset
First Aid Certification is a strong asset
A genuine passion for health, wellness, and creating exceptional guest experiences.

Schedule & Contract
Part-time: 20 hrs/week, Tuesday to Fridays
Occasional evenings and weekends as needed, in addition to 20 hrs/week
1-year contract, with the potential for renewal.
