Responsibilities
Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations and ensuring smooth workflow
Supervise and coordinate food preparation and cooking activities to maintain quality standards
Lead, motivate, and manage kitchen staff, including training and performance evaluations
Oversee food handling procedures, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
Prepare and present dishes according to restaurant standards and recipes
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control
Enforce cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen area
Serve as a role model for team management, fostering a positive work environment
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Experience
Supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
Proven background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
Extensive restaurant management experience demonstrating leadership capabilities
Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and proper handling techniques
Experience in the food industry with a focus on quality control and customer satisfaction
