Job description



Frankie's is seeking to add a dynamic Sous Chef to our operations for primarily night shifts (9pm closing time) . Flexible scheduling paired with a positive attitude is a must. Main duties consist of supporting Chef as well as leading our night crew through service and closing procedures. Frankie's offers competitive wages + tip pool + free meal while on shift.

Responsibilities



Support the Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence. Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment that encourages professional growth and high performance. Oversee food production processes, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion controls, and quality standards across all menu items. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste while maintaining food safety standards. Coordinate shift management by organizing staff schedules, delegating tasks efficiently, and ensuring smooth service during busy periods. Uphold strict food safety and sanitation protocols in compliance with health regulations to guarantee a safe dining environment for guests and staff. Maintain open communication with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications



Min 1 year of of leadership experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment Demonstrated supervisory experience leading culinary teams in fast-paced settings such as restaurants or catering operations. Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate diverse teams while maintaining high standards of performance. Strong understanding of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of culinary work.
