We are currently hiring for the Sous Chef role in both our
Langford
(721 Station Ave) location as well as our
James Bay
(425 Quebec St) location.

Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations and managing staff. Previous experience working with 7Shifts for scheduling is an asset!
Supervise and train kitchen personnel in food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and plating guide standards. When on shift, the Sous Chef is expected to aid the culinary team by executing on the main service line or helping to drive the prep production.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen with an emphasis on CAYG.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new quarterly and daily feature menu items.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
Maintain a positive work environment by fostering teamwork and communication among staff members. Teamwork makes the dreamwork!
Requirements
Proven experience in a restaurant or culinary setting, with supervisory experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food service operations.
Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for the food industry and commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.
