About this Opportunity

Job Summary
University Food Services (UNFS) is the primary provider of food and beverage at the University of Victoria, providing meals to students, staff, faculty and external clients through a number of retail and residential dining venues as well as its catering division, Degrees Catering. UNFS currently operates retail venues across campus ranging from small grab and go cafes to high volume food court operations.
The Sous Chef is responsible for overseeing and participating in the day-to-day retail, residential and/or catering operations which includes responsibility for all cooks, food preparation and production within their designated areas. The Sous Chef performs duties as assigned by the Executive Chef and/or Executive Sous Chef, as per established standards of operation.
