Responsibilities



Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate daily food preparation activities. Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation. Ensure all food is prepared according to established recipes and standards for quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Train new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and cooking techniques. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure proper food safety practices are followed.

Skills



Proven experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing a team effectively. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food service operations. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations within the culinary industry. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. Previous experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry is preferred. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate teamwork and collaboration. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.32-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 44 per week
