We are seeking a talented and dedicated Sous Chef to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations and staff.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and controlling stock levels.
Collaborate on menu planning, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
Manage shift operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely service.
Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Assist with catering events, ensuring all food service meets guest expectations.
Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership.
Experience
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within the food industry.
Strong background in fine dining, catering, or banquet services is preferred.
Demonstrated skills in food production, kitchen management, and food service management.
Experience with inventory control and food handling practices.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Knowledge of culinary techniques, menu planning, and shift management.
Familiarity with hospitality standards and customer service excellence is essential.
