We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional food service. As a key member of our restaurant management team, the Sous Chef will assist in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and safety standards are met, and supporting the culinary staff in creating an outstanding dining experience for our guests.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate food preparation activities to ensure high-quality dishes are consistently delivered
Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
Oversee food handling procedures to comply with safety and sanitation regulations
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment
Support restaurant management in operational tasks and customer service initiatives
Lead by example in serving guests with professionalism and hospitality
Ensure adherence to food safety standards and health regulations at all times
Requirements
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or food service environment
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
Extensive restaurant experience, including kitchen operations and food industry knowledge
Excellent understanding of food safety protocols and sanitation standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
Experience with restaurant management is preferred but not mandatory
A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding service to guests
