We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and staff management.
Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes and presentation standards.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain proper stock levels.
Implement and uphold food safety standards and sanitation practices.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
Handle food service tasks as needed during peak hours to ensure timely delivery of meals.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management.
Comprehensive knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and sanitation practices.
