As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety, and leading a team of kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Develop and prepare innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training in food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards, maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste through effective food handling practices.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Assist with bartending duties as needed, creating signature cocktails that complement menu offerings.
Foster a positive work environment by encouraging teamwork and open communication among staff.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles.
Experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing restaurant operations is preferred.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety standards.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
