We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our restaurant management team, the Sous Chef will assist in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and hospitality. Duties
Assist the Executive Chef in planning and executing menu items with creativity and precision
Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and food handlers, ensuring efficient workflow and teamwork
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards
Manage food safety procedures, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Train new team members in food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and service standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times
Support restaurant management in daily operations and special events
Requirements
Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within the food industry
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
Extensive restaurant experience with a focus on quality cuisine and customer service
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and front-of-house staff
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Passion for hospitality, serving guests, and creating memorable dining experiences
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
