We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Sous Chef to join our culinary team. Duties
Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking processes
Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, including cooks and food handlers, ensuring efficient workflow
Oversee food safety practices and ensure compliance with health regulations
Prepare and present high-quality dishes according to restaurant standards
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs
Train new team members in food handling, safety procedures, and culinary techniques
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment
Serve as a leader during service hours, ensuring timely delivery of meals and excellent customer service
Collaborate with restaurant management to develop menus and special offerings
Requirements
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant management
Supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen or food service environment
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
Excellent skills in food industry standards, hospitality, and serving practices
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Exceptional communication skills and a professional attitude
Prior restaurant experience with a focus on culinary excellence and customer satisfaction
Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance

Pay: $16.45-$20.00 per hour
