Job Description
About us We are professional, agile and innovative. Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff
- Supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks and other kitchen workers
- Create new recipes and plan menus
- Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
- Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets
- Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role for 3 years to less than 5 years .
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Creativity and passion for food
- Bartending experience is a plus Education College/CEGEP or equivalent experience Experience 3 years to less than 5 years Work site environment Noisy Odours Hot Work setting Restaurant Rural area Bar Willing to relocate Job Types: Full-time, Permanent , 44 hours/week Start date - as soon as possible Salary: Up to $65,000.00 per year Benefits:
