We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Sous Chef to join our culinary team. Duties
Assist in supervising kitchen staff, including cooks and food preparation personnel, ensuring smooth daily operations
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of quality and presentation
Manage food handling procedures to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations
Support the development and implementation of menu items, recipes, and plating standards
Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and manage stock rotation
Enforce food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen area
Lead by example in serving guests with professionalism and hospitality
Collaborate with restaurant management to optimize workflow and customer satisfaction
Train new staff members on food preparation techniques, safety standards, and service expectations
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or food service environment
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
Demonstrated leadership skills in team management and restaurant management roles
Strong understanding of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
Previous restaurant experience emphasizing hospitality and customer service excellence
Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a positive work environment
Experience with serving guests in a fast-paced setting is preferred
