Job Summary


We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations, ensuring that our food quality and presentation meet the highest standards. This position requires strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of food safety practices, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties



Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items, ensuring consistency and quality. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to maintain high standards of food production. Help manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu planning and development. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and restaurant procedures. Assist in managing kitchen operations during peak service times to ensure efficiency. Participate in special events or catering services as required.

Requirements



Proven experience as a cook or Sous Chef in a restaurant or food industry setting. Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and supervising staff. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management. A passion for culinary arts and a desire to help elevate the dining experience for guests. Previous experience in restaurant management or bartending is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
