We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. Duties

Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation activities. Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards. Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen organization. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety, and restaurant policies. Collaborate with other team members to create innovative menu items and specials. Monitor food quality during preparation and service to maintain high standards. Assist in managing kitchen schedules and staff assignments.

Skills

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or food service environment. Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead kitchen staff. Proficient in various cooking techniques and food preparation methods. Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with restaurant management practices is a plus. Experience in bartending is beneficial but not required.
