Sous Chef
to help lead our kitchen and deliver outstanding experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
Supervise and support kitchen staff during prep and service
Oversee and participate in food preparation and cooking line duties as needed
Be fully prepared to work any station on the line and assist with prep work as required
Collaborate with the Head Chef in menu planning and development
Ensure proper food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety at all times
Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen team members
Maintain organized, clean, and efficient workstations
Step in and manage kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef
Address special requests and dietary needs, collaborating with front-of-house staff as needed
Qualifications
1/2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or Kitchen Supervisor (required)
Strong prep, cooking, and organizational skills; must be willing and able to do hands-on prep and work on the line when needed
Knowledge of Italian cuisine and current culinary trends is a strong asset
Culinary diploma or Red Seal certification (preferred)
Excellent leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
Ability to perform under pressure and multitask
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
