The SOUS CHEF main roles are to craft the LINX vision and deliver a perfectly prepared dish every time. Their dedication to providing each guest with quality products and unparalleled execution is what will keep guests coming back time and time again.

The SOUS CHEF positions are designed to support, maintain and execute the standards of quality in food preparation. These positions are responsible for learning and executing the kitchen organization and cooking of all food requirements for the restaurant. The SOUS CHEF, like all other roles, are to be ambassadors for the Brand.

Role of a Sous Chef:

? Accurately complete all prep items and food orders to LINX standards
? Accountable for supporting standards of cleanliness, timing, uniform, grooming, organization, production, food quality, and consistency
? Be enthusiastic, energetic and demonstrate a genuine positive demeanor throughout the shift
? Be professional and hospitable while promoting the LINX brand
? Possess a sincere attitude to be of service to others with a desire to succeed

Duties & Responsibilities:

? Support standards of cleanliness, timing, uniform, grooming, organization, production, food quality, and consistency
? Maintain the work area, including all counter tops, utensils, equipment, and refrigeration in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with health and safety regulations
? Inventory all products that may need to be stocked, pulled, and/or prepped - keep management informed of food quantities and quality in prep, on the line, and in holding
? Communicate effectively between alternate shifts (am and pm) and ensure station is stocked and ready for service for current and incoming shift
? Ensure proper rotation, labelling, and dating of all products
? Ensure all products are prepared, held, and served at correct temperatures
? Accurately complete all orders with uncompromising quality and consistency as per restaurant and owners' specifications
? Complete all food production and prep sheets as well as monitoring daily prep production
? May be assigned to work multiple stations throughout the shift

Job Requirements:

? Ability to prioritize and stay organized in a high-paced environment
? Minimum of 1-year related kitchen experience
? Ability to follow a recipe
? Food Safety Certificate
? Fluency in English both written and verbal
? Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
? Must be able to carry and lift items weighing 50lbs
? Must be able to stoop and bend
? Must be able to stand and move for extended periods of time to continuously perform essential job functions

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00-$28.00 per hour
