Summary

We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our culinary team at William's Restaurant. In this role, you will assist in managing kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and safety while contributing to an innovative menu that delights our customers.

Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations. Supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality food preparation. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Help develop and implement new menu items that align with seasonal offerings. Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety standards. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service for guests.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant industry. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent cooking skills with a passion for culinary arts. Ability to supervise and motivate kitchen staff effectively. Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and front-of-house staff. Experience in menu planning and food preparation is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.35-$24.80 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
