What we need: You will work with and support the Procurement & Vendor Partnership team by executing comprehensive waste and recycling services sourcing initiatives that leverage North American vendors and consolidate spend across regional demand. You will also negotiate and manage vendor contracts for performance, improvement, and innovation in support of our customers. This position reports to the Director of Sourcing and Vendor Partnerships.

What you will be doing:

• Execute RFx initiatives, proposal evaluations, contract negotiations, and post award contract management.
• Build and maintain accountable and collaborative relationships with our vendor partners and internal stakeholders to manage demand and mitigate risk.
• Identify spend consolidation and facilitate savings/value creation opportunities.
• Develop and lead the implementation of Key Performance Indicators (KPI\xe2\x80\x99s) to drive continuous improvement, value and productivity among our vendor bases.
• Conduct regional market analysis.
• Identify areas for process improvement and ensure all PVP processes and procedures are adhered to, up to date, and managed.
• Assist with data entry of vendor purchase information into ERP.
• Ensure vendor contracts are current and identify and action expiring contracts.

Is this You? \xe2\x80\x9cMust Have\xe2\x80\x9d Skills/Experience:

• 5-10 years of progressive procurement experience in services-based business(es)
• Experience negotiating and managing complex contracts.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and cost modeling/analysis skills.
• Strong negotiations skills.
• Highly proficient with MS Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills establishing cooperative working relationships.
• Critical thinking skills and good judgment.
• Ability to work independently but also succeed in a team environment.
• Experience navigating a dynamic and evolving environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Succeed in a multi-task environment and can prioritize.

• Waste & Recycling and/or Environmental industry experience.
• Knowledge of best practices in strategic sourcing and/or supply chain management.
• Dynamics ERP experience.
• Advanced skills in structuring contracts/agreements.
• Ability to travel internationally.
