Title: Sourcing Buyer
Location: Oakville, ON
Duration: 12 MonthsJob Overview:Join our Procurement Fulfillment team to support purchase requisitions to vendor payments. As an Order Fulfillment Buyer/Expeditor within the Sourcing team, you will interact with various departments and suppliers to support production activities and schedules.Responsibilities
- Manage purchase orders from issuance to closure
- Set contract terms and maintain Outline Agreements
- Confirm orders and expedite deliveries
- Coordinate with Logistics
- Resolve payment issues
- Financial tracking
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager
- Bachelor\'s degree (or international equivalent) in Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5 years minimum experience in purchasing, expediting, or supply chain roles
- Interface with suppliers to ensure PO is received/acknowledged, schedule received, and ship date is met
- Ensure planned ship date aligns with production needs and work with suppliers to improve delivery if needed
- Follow-up with email correspondence in an organized and timely fashion
- Manage Quarterly Price Adjustments and maintain Outline Agreements
- Place POs
- Expediting
- Work with Category Management
- Ensure Master Data is accurate
- Invoice resolution
- Logistic bookings and follow-up where required
- Support assigned plants
- Other tasks as assigned
