As a Sorter/Packing/Package Handler at our Notary Public Office, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, security, and timely processing of sensitive legal documents. This position is less about warehouse-scale logistics and more about meticulous attention to detail in a professional office setting.
Responsibilities:
Document & Package Handling:
Receive incoming mail, packages, and courier deliveries, logging them accurately into our tracking system.
Carefully open, sort, and categorize incoming documents based on urgency, client, and notary assignment.
Meticulously prepare outgoing shipments, which include notarized documents, apostilles, certified copies, and other sensitive materials.
Quality Control & Organization:
Manage inventory of shipping supplies (boxes, tape, labels, etc.) and notify the office manager when supplies are low.
File and organize copies of shipping manifests and tracking information.
Administrative Support & Client Service:
Answer basic phone inquiries regarding package status and tracking, demonstrating excellent customer service.
Handle all documents with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer skills for data entry, email, and generating shipping labels.
Strong ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions precisely.
Professional and courteous demeanor for client interactions.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.14-$25.97 per hour
