Don't miss this opportunity to be part of a national organization that plays a meaningful role in the lives of all Canadians.Apply today!DescriptionJob Details:Location: 140 Main Street, Thunder Bay, OntarioWorking Hours: Part Time, 30 hours per weekMonday to Friday 03:15 - 09:30Wage: $18.78 per hourThe AM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.ResponsibilitiesUnload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
Loads freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend deliveryRequirements

• No experience necessary
• Proper scan and load techniques
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a time sensitive environment
• Willingness to work as part of a team
• Attention to process, quality and/or operational standards
• Successfully complete a criminal record check and employment verification to qualify
• Obtain a clear Police Clearance Certificate when required
