Who we're looking for



Viacore Prince George is looking for a self-motivated Solution Specialist (Outside Sales) to join its growing, dynamic team. The ideal candidate is someone who has a strong work ethic, excellent in-person communication and telecommunication skills, customer-service skills, and ability to prioritize and self- manage.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities (Include all the essential functions of the job):



Maintain excellent customer relationships; proactively service existing accounts and identify new business opportunities within assigned territory. Conduct belt and conveyor system inspections and provide technical recommendations. Scope service work accurately and coordinate field crews in conjunction with Service Supervisors and the Shop Foreman. Lead planning and execution of out-of-town projects, including logistics, crew scheduling, and material handling. Collaborate with Inside Sales and Service teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery. Provide on-site support during key installations and service jobs as needed. Maintain clear and regular communication with the branch team to share customer updates, service needs, and sales leads. Prepare project proposals and reports, ensuring timely submission of monthly sales activity and travel reports. Promote safety and ensure compliance with internal and external procedures, especially during field operations.

Knowledge/Education & Experience:

Knowledge / Education & Experience: 3-5+ years of industrial sales and/or project management experience. Strong mechanical aptitude or background in millwrighting or mechanical trades. Experience working in field-based service or installation environments. Proven record of achieving sales targets and delivering excellent customer service.

Certifications:



Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certified. Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.

Skills & Abilities:



Strong interpersonal and communication skills (in-person, phone, and email). Excellent organizational and project coordination abilities. High comfort level with out-of-town travel (up to 70%). Strong computer literacy (MS Office, Outlook, mobile reporting tools). Ability to identify customer needs, recommend appropriate technical solutions, and follow through to project completion. Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently in remote environments. Understanding of service work fundamentals and job costing.

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
