We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our growing Global Team!
What we do:

What you will do:
You will provide technical sales support for Enghouse Networks’ Fiber Planning and Design Solution (NetDesigner) with hands-on experience with Esri ArcGIS. Technical sales engineer specializing in the application of GIS and location intelligence as it relates to solutions in the telecommunications industry. Must have experience with Esri ArcGIS.


  • Responsible for customer-facing sales engagements including designing and delivering NetDesigner solution presentations and product demos to customers in North, Central, and South America.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers on a technical level, and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Provide technical sales assistance to the Enghouse Networks sales team.
  • Work independently and as a team player, assisting multiple diverse projects.
  • Work closely with account managers in preparing technical tender responses (RFP, RFI, RFQ, etc.) and assume the lead technical role between Enghouse Networks and the customer.
  • Responsible for answering all technical questions in meetings, presentations and those contained in RFx/tender documents.
  • Responsible for creating technical solution proposals including hardware/software dimensioning of the NetDesigner solution for Tier 1 to Tier 5 telecommunication environments.
  • Work closely with Product Management and R&D teams as a customer advocate and part of the change request process.
  • Act as a liaison for the sales team to keep them abreast of the latest advances and developments with the NetDesigner product.
  • Provide leadership to the post-sale handover process to the professional services team including Scope of Work documentation.
  • Contribute to the generation and maintenance of relevant product value propositions; business cases, case studies, network/call-flow diagrams and the internal knowledge base.

What you have: A post graduate degree in a related technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or Telecommunications), preferably in a telecom discipline or with a telecom focus

  • 3 years minimum experience with Esri related ArcGIS products including the complete ArcGIS technology stack of desktop and enterprise.
  • 1 -3 years minimum experience with deployment of ArcGIS products in an enterprise environment
  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in pre-sales, technical sales, sales engineering or previous experience with GIS and or telecommunication products in some other capacity.
  • This role requires 35%+ travel within the Americas region with a home-based office environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Well organized and quality-oriented professional, with an ability to meet deadlines.
  • Capability to work independently and self-learn using Enghouse product documentation and demo tools
  • Experience using GIS and its application in the telecommunication space.
  • An understanding of fiber telecommunication networks and their application across various deployment models (utility, telecom, municipal, and transportation)
  • Experience with OSS
