About This Role

We are looking for someone to help build, design and support a shared IT infrastructure solution to provide RPA (Robotic Process Automation) services to all lines of business and departments at TD, in both the US and Canada, as a platform. You will be responsible for providing infrastructure requirements and will work with other support teams to onboard business applications to the platform. You will enable and support developers in helping them create automations that run business processes. You will be designing and supporting virtual servers and desktops, software packaging, and gathering firewall/network related information for each business application. You will be implementing software version upgrades and rigorously testing new features while identifying defects and engaging vendor support to resolve issues in a timely manner. You will be working on projects related to new features, business requirements, or currency related upgrades that follow agile methodology.

Here are the essential job functions of this position:

• Contribute to the technical direction of the future versions of our RPA platform.
• Respect TD\'s technology delivery practices and standards, project management disciplines, business technology architecture, and risk and production capacity - this includes thorough project requirements, documentation, scope estimates and costs.
• Identify ways to minimize cost, play a role in introducing strategic solutions to support cost effectiveness and enhance stakeholder experience.
• Develop and document a detailed solution design within SDS (System Design Specification), impart your subject matter expertise throughout life cycle.
• Participate in complex applications and systems development.
• Propose solution options; generate stakeholder support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on project estimates.
• Support knowledge management processes and ensure knowledge is codified, monitored, tracked and managed.
• Ensure design leverages existing reusable components, traces back to business requirements, and that new modules are designed with reusability in mind.
• Identify and address any issue that affects the integrity of the application ( e.g. cross-capability/release issues).
• Provide technical support to promptly resolve escalated incidents/outages.
