As a
Solution Specialist
reporting to the Director, Strategic Growth, you'll be the go-to expert for ATB's dynamic range of products, services, and solutions. Your mission? To drive acquisition, deepen relationships, and ensure client retention across our Everday Financial Services (EFS) portfolio. You'll manage a diverse portfolio, with a special focus on ATB's vibrant small business segment, and even get to support our retail clients. This isn't just about transactions; it's about making a meaningful impact by helping Alberta's businesses and individuals achieve their financial goals.
Accountabilities
Be the go-to expert:
You'll be the subject matter pro in your solution areas, empowering EFS team members, especially those supporting our incredible small business clients, with your specialized knowledge.
Craft custom solutions:
Dive deep to understand the unique needs of our clients and team members, then tailor ATB's distinctive offerings to deliver unparalleled value.
Share your wisdom:
Provide invaluable in-house expertise to bankers, advisors, and other team members, advising them on our full spectrum of product offerings.
Uncover insights:
Analyze client and team member data to spot trends, recommend personalized solutions, and even anticipate future needs.
Harness digital power:
Leverage cutting-edge digital data and tools, including CRM, to stay ahead of external market shifts, industry impacts, business demands, and client/team member habits. Use these insights to champion vital learning and development opportunities.
Collaborate for success:
Work hand-in-hand with teams to enhance operational effectiveness, refine risk assessment and management, and ensure seamless legal and regulatory compliance.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
What you bring:
Business Acumen:Deep understanding of payments/cash management, loan/business lending, fraud prevention, everyday banking, onboarding, and business analysis.
Project and Program Management: Experience with agile methodologies, business risk management, compliance, project framing, business case development, and robust risk and issue management.
Data and Analytics: Proficiency in data reporting, visualization, dashboarding tools, data cleansing, curation, harmonizing, and packaging.
Interpersonal and Leadership Skills: Proven ability to excel in specialist and matrix team environments.
Your Credentials:
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
Experience and/or certification in a related field is a bonus.
3-5 years of experience in business banking is required; retail banking experience is a valuable asset.

Work Arrangements
This is a hybrid role that can work from anywhere in Alberta. You'll work both remote and onsite, where time onsite is based on your job accountabilities and performance objectives.
