Are you looking to use your expertise in Identity and Directory Services? In this role, you will be responsible to ensure the integrity and effective delivery of
Suncor\xe2\x80\x99s Directory Services.

The Solution Architect serves to own the architecture decisions for the Identity and Directory Services POD and facilitate the creation and evolution of Identity and Directory Services applications/products.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Business or Computer Science degree, Business or Technical College diploma or equivalent experience, with 10+ years of Solution Architecture experience
  • Senior knowledge and experience in Azure AD, Azure, AWS, Active Directory, PKI, and key concepts in Cybersecurity IAM (authentication, authorization, key management, and cloud/application security)
  • Knowledge and experience in Agile and/or DevOps methodologies
  • Demonstrated skills in automation (Logic Apps, PowerShell, Microsoft Graph) and data analysis/visualization (PowerBI) considered an asset
Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Identity and Directory Services POD development team and business analyst, guiding the creation and evolution of the application/product architecture
  • Accountable for adherence of builds to Enterprise Architecture and Cybersecurity principles, standards, and guidelines
  • Champion automated testing, continuous integration, and best practices in application/product development
  • Lead architectural design/direction, gathering of non-functional requirements, with a focus on Cybersecurity IAM standards/guidelines and alignment to the NIST Framework
  • Mentor to development team in architectural practices
Location and other Key Details:
  • You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 \xe2\x80\x93 6th Ave S.W.
  • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
  • After hours support required as needed. Demands may rise for extended support during evenings, nights, and weekends
  • Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines and the pay band will generally be based on years of experience and scope of work
