Title: Solutions Architect - Digital Trust Quartech is an IT solutions and consulting company located in beautiful British Columbia, with offices in Victoria and Vancouver. The Solution Architect will provide consultation to clients and design, describe, & manage technical solutions to their specific problems in the digital trust space. The area of focus is creating solutions for decentralized identity and trust over IP. They will engage clients to understand business gaps, developing creative solutions in alignment with needs and the tech environment. Balancing the needs of the client, the project team, and Quartech, our Solutions Architects draw on their deep experience delivering large and complex projects. Internally, they act as a leader and mentor to our developers. Location: This is a hybrid role, in our Victoria or Vancouver, BC office In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll\xe2\x80\xa6

• Provide architecture strategies, create solution prototypes, implement technical solutions in the Digital Trust and Hyperledger space.
• Analyze business needs of clients and stakeholders to propose solutions that would have positive impact on the overall business goals and outcomes
• Translate technical project details into a language that management and non- technical stakeholders can understand
• Propose methods to alleviate potential constraints and risks related to performance, reliability, usability, supportability, security, and deployment
• Define all non-functional requirements and ensure sustainable solution design meets technical environments
• Design and develop solutions that meet clients\xe2\x80\x99 needs and IT roadmap
• Craft potential solution options for clients and present a convincing solution design concept
• Define and analyze data requirements and put together data models / schemas at a conceptual and logical level that support the business processes and desire business outcomes within the scope of a solution

• Communicate the solution concept to client stakeholders and collaborate with client business groups to formalize the adoption of the technology
• Champion the implementation of the business application solution and influence changes to clients\xe2\x80\x99 standards when necessary
• Provide analysis of security protection technologies as necessary
• Conduct capabilities assessment to determine the solution meets the clients\xe2\x80\x99 business requirements
• May be required to act as senior developer to design, write, test customize code
• Review customized code of developers and provide mentorship as required
• May assist clients in creating and developing a solution architecture program and collaboration framework including departmental roadmaps and technical specifications for systems architecture

• 10+ years of combined experience as an experienced hands-on Architect and Senior Developer and a track record of delivering large, complex projects in the digital trust and Hyperledger space.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing complex projects value between $100K - $1 Million
• Experience in leading a team and building solutions using modern microservice architecture technologies and opensource platforms
• Consulting experience working with clients to design, build and evolve solutions and applications
• Experience with delivering solutions with Decentralized Identity/Trust over IP
• Extensive knowledge working with Hyperledger - Indy, Hyperledger- Aires Bi-fold Platform
• Experience working with - Aries Framework JavaScript (AFJ) and Hyperledger Aries Cloud Agent Python (ACA-Py)
• Extensive experience working with the Trust Framework and Verifiable Credentials
• Be comfortable with change as they move from project to project, client to client, adapting to new environments and cultures.
• Experience building solutions that run on and use either Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS cloud services and you know your way around containerization technologies
• Extensive understanding of infrastructure technologies such as virtualization, storage, containerization, cloud, networking & security fundamentals
• Extensive knowledge of architecting the modern RESTful APIs, design patterns, and service design
• Demonstrate an understanding of enterprise architecture principles and knowledge of Enterprise Architect frameworks such as TOGAF
