CGI Montreal is seeking a Solution Architect for a major CRM Citizens360 project, a strategic initiative led by a public organization aiming to modernize and optimize the relationship between the administration and citizens.
This large-scale project focuses on enhancing the citizen experience by establishing the technological foundations of an integrated and unified approach to public services.
The goal: to develop a 360 view of the citizen, build a centralized customer reference system, and simplify interactions between citizens and the organization.
Main Responsibilities
The Solution Architect will play a key role in defining, designing, and implementing the target technological architecture.
Key responsibilities include:
Analyze the current state (As-Is): conduct a full audit of existing services and architecture.
Model the target state (To-Be): design the target architectures for upcoming digital services.
Define the target IT architecture, including:
o applications and service components,
o data exchanges and reference models,
o platforms, cloud/on-premises interconnections, and security components.
Identify organizational and technological prerequisites for the implementation of new digital services.
Propose implementation and transition scenarios, including sequencing and integration strategies.
Support ongoing projects to ensure their alignment and integration with the target architecture.
Expected Deliverables
Analysis report of existing solutions
Global IT architecture models (As-Is / To-Be)
Detailed architecture documentation: components, applications, data, flows, security, platforms, identity and authentication
Security strategy, risk matrix, and mitigation plan
Configuration backup plan
Service availability and business continuity plan
Technical Skills Required
Proven experience designing hybrid solutions (cloud / on-premise)
Strong command of web technologies, API architectures, and microservices
In-depth knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, Microsoft 365, Azure DevOps)
Experience with OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0, and federated identity models
Experience designing reusable software components and implementing continuous integration (CI/CD)
Familiarity with Microsoft and Oracle platforms
Strong background in data architecture
Key Skills and Attributes
Excellent abstraction, modeling, and synthesis abilities
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills (IT and business)
Solid experience producing clear and structured architectural deliverables
Ability to work effectively in an agile and collaborative environment
Technical leadership and a strong sense of governance
Assets
Experience in the public, parapublic, or municipal sector
Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or ArchiMate
Experience with CRM or MDM (Master Data Management) projects
