By embracing these values, we deliver better, more accessible, and inclusive public services.Our TeamWorking in the Digital Health Enablement Division of CSDS, you will be part of the Business Solutions Health Portfolio team that provides project intake services for Nova Scotia Health (NSH), Isaak Walton Killam (IWK) Hospital, Department of Health and Wellness (DHW), Office of Professional Healthcare Recruitment (OPHR), Office of Mental Health and Addictions (OMHA) and Department of Seniors and Long Term Care (DSltC). Our work also includes technology projects that are part of Nova Scotia\xe2\x80\x99s Health Care Redevelopment program. You will be a key member of various multi-disciplinary teams, delivering digital solutions to enable better Healthcare for the people of Nova Scotia.Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of technical solutions that prioritize usability, data security, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness, balancing input from multiple stakeholders.
  • Guide projects through the Architecture Review Board (ARB) approval process, ensuring that solutions align with provincial technology standards and best practices.
  • Document and communicate solution architectures, ensuring all parties are aligned and that deployments serve the citizens of Nova Scotia effectively and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with operations and technical teams within CSDS to facilitate aspects of solution implementation.
  • Provide consulting and advisory services to leadership and teams within CSDS and our Health partners and participating in RFP development and evaluation.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Information Technology with 5 years of related experience, or a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to provide innovative IT solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to competing priorities, contentious issues, and challenging deadlines.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships, gain consensus, and drive change.
  • Effective communication skills, with experience working at a strategic level to understand business challenges and craft comprehensive solutions.
  • Independence in high-level operations with a strong sense of curiosity and commitment to continuous learning.
