Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled SolidWorks Professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings that support our engineering and design projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, and will be adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks and other CAD software. Collaborate with engineers and designers to create schematics and drafting documentation Has solid understanding and experience in designing plastic and sheet metal components and assemblies and be able to perform design for manufacturability of the pr Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve product designs. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in design engineering. Assist in the creation of 2D animations for project presentations and client demonstrations. Maintain organized project files and documentation throughout the design process.

Experience

Proficiency in SolidWorks is required; experience with AutoCAD is highly desirable. Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturability for Plastics and sheet metal components and systems Knowledge of GD&T is an asset Experience in load and stress simulation and analysis is an asset Ability to work effectively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
