Adecco is currently hiring for a full-time Solid Core Operator to work a long-term contract, with a chance to be permanent, in the solid core department of our client, a reputable and multinational company majoring in chemical products and supplies, located in Saskatoon, SK. To qualify for this role, you must have reliable transportation and be physically fit and comfortable with performing general labor duties in addition to committing to 12 hours shift. * Pay rate: $18.61/hour + $2 premium when working overnight

• Location: Saskatoon, SK
• Shifts: Off-Season(April-July) | Monday - Friday | 8 AM- 4:30 PM

On-Season(August-March) | 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off |7AM - 7PM and 7PM - 7AM * Job type: Full-time | Temporary to Permanent

Duties and Responsibilities: * Pick and load raw materials

• Prepare packaging and fill-off finished product
• Assist in receiving required raw materials
• Follow all instructions and guidelines to complete work tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications: * Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent

• Own transportation and valid driver's license (Public Transportation spotty at best)
• Demonstrated safe mobile lift operations
• Demonstrated ability to understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analyses (JSEAs)
• Mechanical Aptitude
• Demonstrated ability in effective problem solving and troubleshooting in variety of situations.
• Ability to communicate with peers, supervisors, and manager particularly in areas of safety, quality and performance.
• Comprehensive ability to read and write in English
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and climb steps/ladders as well as lift up to 50 lbs. and preform repetitive tasks.
• Available to work overtime, shift work, holidays and weekends as needed
• Must have a clear criminal background check
• Should complete company medical check to wear full respirator and drive mobile equipment
• Able to wear full face respirator (clean shaven for seal between mask and skin)
• Permanent Canadian Residency is a must
