Job Summary
Under the guidance of the Director - Corporate Legal Services, this position provides legal services to all departments of Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services. This Solicitor IV position will provide legal advice primarily in the areas of privacy, access to information, management of records, quality, client relations and risk mitigation. Work may involve matters before the Supreme Court of NL.

Job Qualifications
The successful candidate must have a Bachelor\'s Degree in Law.
A minimum of five years (5) experience with extensive involvement in the areas of privacy law, access to information, records management and risk mitigation.
The candidate should have demonstrated exceptional leadership, teamwork, analytical, and communication skills.
Candidates must be eligible for membership or be an active member, in good standing, with the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Candidates who believe they possess an equivalent combination of experience, training and personal attributes are encouraged to apply.
A satisfactory record of work experience and attendance is required.
