As part of the clean energy economy, Solar Sales Reps: Generate customer leads to develop new accounts; Prepare proposals, quotes, contracts or presentations for potential customers; Select solar energy products, systems or services for customers based on electric energy requirements, site conditions or price; Assess sites to determine suitability for solar equipment; Calculate potential solar array production for a site; Develop strategic plans for sales territories; Provide technical information to potential customers or dealers; Accept quote requests or orders from customers; and demonstrate use of solar-related equipment to customers.
