Solar Power Site Survey Tech
Job Description
Riverside Energy Systems is excited to be hiring a Site Assessor to join our team in our Kamloops BC office. This position is accountable to the Sales Supervisor and will report directly to them. You will be required to talk and meet with customers on-site at their designated location(s). You will be trained on how to collect and maintain the data pertaining to a site assessment. The hours are full-time, Mon-Fri, 8 am-4:30 pm with coffee and lunch breaks at the Internal Operations Supervisor\'s scheduled times. Note these hours are not set and flexibility is required.
The ideal candidate is one with experience in the electrical field (preference to apprentice electricians) and is willing to work with new and existing customers.
This is a great way to get into the renewable energy industry and gain extensive knowledge on how systems are designed and installed.

- Driving
- Ladder climbing
- Positive customer interactions
- Product knowledge
- Vehicle maintenance
- PM software updating
- System knowledge
- 1-2 years experience is ideal
- 1+ years of industry knowledge is preferred
- Excellent ability to manage and build relationships
- Advanced skills in communicating
- Unrelenting drive to understand and meet prospective customer needs
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Ability and comfort in piloting a UAV (drone)
- Ability to stay on task
- Lots of talking, typing, and driving
$45,000 - $60,000 Annual Salary depending on experience
Payment schedule is bi-weekly. Benefits after 3 months (medical/dental) and inclusion in staff events throughout the year.
