What is the Opportunity?

The Hayter Group is an independent and wholly owned subsidiary of Aecon Group Inc., bringing energy solutions to residential customers in Ontario. This includes a wide range of heating/cooling solutions such as furnace, geothermal, heat pump products, and solar solutions for both new build and retrofit homes.

Reporting to the Filed Services Supervisor, the Solar Installer Technician will be responsible for the installation of the solar panels on clients\' rooftops, using power tools to construct the framing of the panels and wire configuration.

What You\'ll Do Here:

• Assemble solar panels at different job sites.
• Mount the panels on the client\'s roof or in another location.
• Configure the wiring and inspect all electrical parts.
• Install and connect any batteries or other accessories.
• Perform maintenance on all systems.

What You Bring to the Team:

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Good communication skills.
• Construction experience is required.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Previous electricity and wiring experience is considered an asset.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Must have Valid G driver\'s license.
