Seeking an experienced Onsite Network Engineer with expertise in

Cisco Software Defined Networking (

SDN

)

and

Fortinet firewalls

to manage and secure enterprise network infrastructure.

This role demands full 24/7 support availability, with a particular focus on coverage during weekends and outside regular business hours.

Responsibilities:

Manage Cisco SDN platforms (NX-OS, SD-Access). Support LAN/WAN, wireless, and switch/router infrastructure. Configure and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls and enforce security policies. Monitor network health and resolve issues proactively. Participate in migrations, upgrades, and deployments. Maintain network documentation and SOPs. Collaborate on incident response and change management. Provide on-call support for critical events.

Qualifications:

8+ years in enterprise network and firewall support. Strong knowledge of Cisco technologies (Nexus, SD-Access). Hands-on with Fortinet firewall rule sets, NAT, VPNs. Familiarity with Cisco NDFC, DNAC, and ISE. Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds). Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications:

Cisco CCNA/CCNP (Routing & Switching or Security) Fortinet NSE (Level 4 or higher) Mandatory Skills: CISCO Nexus Admin .
