Our dynamic Quality Assurance (QA) Team is based out of our Dieppe office. We develop innovative information management software for business and logistics workflows for the media industry in multiple languages and on multiple continents.

Our customers



Vimsoft customers are National TV Networks, Specialty Networks, Mobile Production, and Media Conglomerates in ten countries and in multiple languages. They broadcast a variety of programs, such as national and local news, sports events, talk shows, music programs, movies, other entertainment, and advertisements. Our software manages much of the human resources and equipment logistics planning for these organizations. We evolve based on an iterative and incremental process. We are agile.



Summary



The Software Quality Analyst is responsible for working with developers and managers to create and execute test cases and test plans, while ensuring that results are properly documented.



Primary Duties





Test Execution: Execute test cases manually or using automated testing tools to ensure software quality and identify defects. Defect Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects using VimBiz. Provide detailed information to developers for issue resolution. Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that previously developed and tested software still performs correctly after changes and updates. Integration Testing: Verify the integration of different components of the software system. Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to assess the speed, responsiveness, and stability of software applications under various conditions. Documentation: Prepare and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports. Collaboration: Work closely with other QA members, software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software products. Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.

Minimum Qualifications





Post-secondary education in Computer Science/IT or Business Administration, or equivalent job experience. 5+ years of QA testing experience. Ability to learn complex enterprise software applications quickly. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Possess strong analytical skills to understand complex workflows and processes. Ability to communicate effectively in English with peers and stakeholders, in a clear and timely fashion. Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. Must have great organizational skills.

Bonus Qualifications





Advanced knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Understanding of business workflows and processes in the media and broadcasting industry. Experience working in enterprise software development and client implementation. Experience with test automation frameworks. Experience with performance and load testing. Programming experience (T-SQL, VB.Net). Multilingual (French, Spanish, German, etc.).
