Summary

Are you a Developer looking to align with an innovative, purpose-driven organization based in the tech hub of Vancouver? As a Software QA Developer with STEMCELL Technologies, you\'ll help us design and validate software behaviors and their integrations between our business operations programs and applications.

A key part of your role will be helping with release planning, identifying, implementing and maintaining test cases, automating QA expectations and integrating them with the CI/CD pipeline. This role will maintain the quality of deliverables ensuring that developed products are fit for use, supportable, and maintainable.



Duties and Responsibilities:

Deliver quality work by increasing the robustness and reliability of codebases, and devoting time to polishing products and systems

Design and deliver new features and demonstrate a nuanced understanding of platform constraints and opportunities

Contribute to the complete lifecycle of software development using Agile development techniques like CI/CD, sprint planning, task estimation, test planning and development

Deliver quality code with proper commenting and version control

Effectively administer existing applications, tools, systems, or processes by following documented practices

Knowledge and Qualifications:

Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of contributing to automated test suites in a professional capacity

Proficient in at least one automated testing tool or framework like Selenium, Cypress and Puppeteer

Excellent understanding of the full test and development lifecycles; high passion for automation of tests and integrating them in the CI/CD pipeline

Experience with web stack languages and frameworks (HTML, CSS, Javascript jQuery, GraphQL, React, Python, and PHP)

Knowledge of Github, Github Actions, Jira, Magento, RESTful web APIs and endpoints, Mulesoft, CI/CD pipelines, Cloud and eCommerce Metrics, Application Logs, and Test Driven Development (Behave/Cucumber) and experience working with visual regression tools such as LambdaTest Smart UI, Percy or Applitools

The annual base salary for this job ranges from: $67,320.00 - $91,100.00

STEMCELL determines an individual\'s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
