You Are:


As a seasoned Software Engineer, you bring a blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience to the table. You thrive in a collaborative team environment and are passionate about developing software tools that enhance the capabilities of Silicon Validation Engineering teams. Your expertise in software engineering allows you to create automated processes that streamline hardware and software operations. You possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, and are adept at balancing tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. As a self-starter, you drive tasks to closure efficiently and are committed to mentoring junior engineers, fostering an environment of growth and development within the team.

What You'll Be Doing:

Developing software tools to support test automation, data processing, and reporting of test results. Creating automated hardware and software processes to streamline validation efforts. Supporting validation engineers with the development of automation tools and scripting to communicate with test instruments. Documenting, designing, developing, and testing software automation frameworks. Enhancing existing tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and reliability. Mentoring junior software engineers and fostering a collaborative team environment.

The Impact You Will Have:

Enhancing the efficiency and reliability of Silicon Validation processes through automation. Supporting the development of cutting-edge IP solutions that drive innovation in the industry. Contributing to the success of high-speed, mixed-signal IP designs. Improving the team's ability to deliver high-quality test results and data analysis. Streamlining communication and operations within the Silicon Validation Engineering team. Fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement through mentorship and collaboration.

What You'll Need:

1-3 years of relevant experience in software development, post-silicon validation, lab instrumentation, characterization, and debug. Undergrad degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering/Computer Science Proficiency in programming, particularly in MATLAB and Python. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. Passion for working in a hardware electronics lab environment.
